Amanda has been a Trustee of The J’s Charity since 2022 and previously worked at The J’s Hospice. She is a qualified counsellor with over 15 years of experience in mental health, specialising in bereavement and supporting adults living with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.
Her extensive background includes working within hospice environments, where she supported adults and families through palliative care. Amanda is passionate about the work of The J’s Charity, which provides opportunities for young adults and their carers to have fun, build friendships, and reduce social isolation.
As a Trustee, Amanda takes responsibility for supporting the Designated Safeguarding Lead and overseeing volunteer and trustee recruitment. Amanda says, “I am proud to play a role in ensuring the charity continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those it serves.”
